Among the ski tours in the area, the Great War Tour is probably the best known. It is an itinerary that combines sport and culture as it allows you to visit with skis on your feet forts, trenches, and walkways symbolic of World War I at the foot of Dolomite peaks such as Pelmo, Civetta, Cinque Torri, Tofane and Marmolada. In the Civetta area several are the starting points for the Great War Ski Tour, which, to be completed, requires about 6 hours and possession of a Dolomiti Superski ski pass.
