Trekking & Climbing
The area around Zoldo is characterized by mountain groups that, since the last century, have been attracting mountaineers from all over the world, eager to challenge the famous north face of Civetta (a good 3,218 m) or to make exciting excursions on Pelmo, Moiazza and Nuvolau.
There are also varied opportunities for high-altitude trekking, hiking accompanied by professional environmental guides, Nordic walking, climbing in natural and artificial rock gyms...
The Zoldan Ring
Noteworthy is the Zoldo Ring, which in 6 days (with overnight stays in refuges) leads to the discovery of all the mountain groups that encircle Val di Zoldo, also covering part of the Alte Vie 1 and 3 of the Dolomites. The Ring of Zoldo includes a high altitude itinerary (almost always less than 2,000 meters) around the towns with daily stages of medium difficulty. The best time to do the Zoldo Ring coincides with the opening period of the refuges: between mid-June and the end of August.
Hiking & walking
Val Zoldana is also ideal for those who wish to undertake less strenuous hikes or take relaxing walks, for example, to discover the valley's characteristic villages.
From Zoldo, moreover, you can easily reach - often conveniently by ski lift - equipped and hospitable refuges and mountain huts. In Val di Zoldo there is no shortage of cultural and historical itineraries to discover the origins of these places.
